The cost of the Bahamas tour is listed below. The price listed as single is if you do not want to share a room with anyone. The club is collecting money for the tour, your payment must be turned in to Joe Clarke at the end of each month. Payment for each month is $100, if you are bringing your wife and children, that is an extra $100 per person.

For those of you who haven't heard yet, training is now going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The training will no longer be at San Marcos Middle School. The club is now training at Bradley Park. Go south about one mile on Rancho Santa Fe Rd. (from the 78) and the park is on your left.

As most of you know, this is the Gurkha?s 25th Anniversary as a rugby club. We are planning a formal banquet in May at the Hyatt Hotel in Downtown San Diego. More information about this event will come at a later time.

GOLF TOURNAMENT, need I say more? Time is no longer an ally, things are now going at break-neck speed. If you have tee sponsor money and or foursome money, get it in as soon as possible. The tournament goes in seventeen days. The date of the golf tournament is November 19, 2000.

John Gibb is now selling the team Polo shirts. There are two shirts, one in blue and the other is white. Both have the team logo on the left breast. The price of the shirts, is $30.

Gentlemen, the time has come for us to do what all good rugby players are called upon to do. The club is looking for a lot of energetic and motivated individuals to play for the Gurkhas. No experience is necessary. We offer OPT (on the pitch training). This will be good for the team, due to fact the fact that on Saturdays, the club must field two sides. This will keep most of us from having to play two matches or playing the second match injured. The club needs the numbers. Part of your recruiting spill could be that we are going to the Bahamas in May 2001 for ten days. And in the future, the club is looking into going to New Zealand and Australia.

Sean O'Connell and Martin Morozowsky, both had shoulder surgery. I guess the hospital had the two shoulders for the price of one special going that week. The both of them will be out of action for at least half of the season. Best of luck to the both of you, and a speedy recovery, boys.

The quarter-ton of beer raffle went well. Thank you to all those individuals who had sold raffle tickets, especially Jeff McCoy, who sold many, many tickets himself.

Devo won second prize in the beer raffle, which was ten cases of beer. Three cheers for Devo.

The estimated profit for the Ten?s tournament is $1,000. Again, thanks to everyone who played a part in putting the tournament together.
